The March 2010 issue of Texas Monthly selects historic Oakwood Cemetery as one the 63 great places in Texas to see. Along with Pioneer's Rest, Oakwood comes in at #13 on page 108 with a description (see right) by Bob Ray Sanders, a well known local journalist.
Hundreds of people visit Oakwood Cemetery in north Fort Worth every year for its beauty and history.
